What kind of payment do you accept?

Basic. Beauty accepts credit cards online, and credit, debit, and cash in store. 

What do I do if my Clothing order is damaged?

We apologize and are so sorry to hear that your order arrived in less than pristine condition. We want to make this right as soon as possible. Email us and let us know what is wrong and we will immediately correct the mistake.

How do I return my order?

Returns are accepted for all items within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us and we will set up a return.

Do lash extensions damage your natural eyelashes?

No. Absolutely not. When applied correctly there will be no damage to your natural lash. The extension simply sheds off with the natural lash during a natural lash shedding cycle. After wearing lash extensions for a long time and taking them off, its not uncommon to think your lashes are shorter. When comparing to the extensions they will seem a lot shorter of course.

Is Dermplaning the same as shaving your face?

NO! I cannot stress this enough. Dermaplaning and shaving are very different treatments. Dermaplaning involves exfoliating your epidermis, as well as removing peach fuzz, with a sharp surgical blade and can be performed by one of our expert estheticians at BASIC. Beauty. During a dermaplaning treatment, your esthetician will scrape off the dead skin cells at the surface of your skin, providing you with a much more effective exfoliation treatment. This leads to smoother skin and a hairless, brighter complexion!

Will the hair grow on the face grow back thicker and darker after dermaplaning?

No, this is a total myth. You are not changing the structure of the hair follicle, you are simply cutting off the hair on the surface of the skin without affecting the actual follicle.

Do I need to make an appointment or can i just drop in?

We do everything by appointments only. As we all run our own business, and take our own bookings here at BASIC. How do I choose the best facial treatment?

We offer free consultations for skincare. We would love to meet, talk, and figure out a plan that works best for you and your skin.

Can I book extra services while I am at the salon/spa?

Absolutely, please ask! We are always trying to accommodate our clients the best we can.

Can I return opened skincare products?

No, all skincare products are final sale.

What is your cancellation policy?

Providing the best services in our industry is the core of our business, therefore we reserve space specifically for you. We ask to please respect our time and notify us 24 hours in advance to change or cancel your appointments without penalty. Without a 24 hour notice, we will charge a fee of 50% of the service price. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Do you accommodate late arrivals?

We pride ourselves on providing services to our clients in a timely and professional manner. We ask you to arrive for your appointment on time in order to serve you best. In the event that you are running late, you will be billed for an entire session, however; as a courtesy to our other clients within our schedule we can only conduct your session within your scheduled time.

What if i have lost my gift certificate?

Your certificate is considered the same as cash. It is necessary to physically have it when you want to redeem.
